Livi Sanchez, Local Hire Compliance Manager
Livi Sanchez is a highly skilled and dedicated professional who has made a significant impact on the Harbor and East Los Angeles region. Known for her exceptional time management and decision-making skills, Livi has been instrumental in helping countless individuals achieve their goals and find success in their chosen careers.
As the Local Hire Compliance Manager, Livi is responsible for overseeing the placement of individuals into various jobs and positions. She takes great pride in her work and is deeply committed to ensuring that every individual she works with is able to find a job that is both fulfilling and financially rewarding. She is highly skilled in matching individuals with jobs that suit their unique skills and interests, and her ability to quickly make decisions and think on her feet is truly impressive.
One thing that Livi particularly enjoys is helping others achieve their goals. She is a natural problem-solver and is always willing to go the extra mile to help someone in need. Her dedication to her work and her compassion for others have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Livi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid reader and enjoys exploring new books and authors. She also enjoys hiking and exploring the great outdoors, and is always on the lookout for new trails and adventures to explore.

Cory Hyde, Placement Manager
Cory has a passion for social equality and invoking positive change in his community.
As a Placement Manager, Cory supports the team to facilitate the relationship between subcontractors and candidates. His mission is to help lead community engagement, develop relationships with unions and work with community members to find employment in the field of construction.
Prior to joining Power2Workers, Mr. Hyde worked at various elementary schools. His early work with children drove him to find a career field that would allow him to continue to help shape the lives of others, while still making a contribution to the betterment of his community. After leaving childcare, Cory thought it would be best to focus on bettering his education and learning more of the issues that most affect his community. Cory graduated from Arizona State University with his bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
Cory enjoys spending time with his family and exercising. He loves traveling and experiencing the different cultures of the world but he feels most at home in the city of Los Angeles.

Clark Canez, Technology and Innovation Manager
As Technology & Innovation Manager. Clark is responsible for creating and implementing our technology systems to support our ability to report out on our work and develop systems to simplify and streamline our work.
Clark obtained his degree in psychology from Cal State University Los Angeles. Prior to joining the Power2Workers team he worked in public housing and accounting. With his background, education and experience Clark makes an invaluable asset to our team, bringing both expertise and a fresh perspective to every project he undertakes.
When Clark is not crunching numbers, he loves to go on an adventure. Clark loves to attend concerts; theme parks any side quest that might present itself.

Lauren Todd, Participant Program Manager
As Participant Program Manager, Lauren works with our participants to ensure they are Ready to Work byu organizing Power Hours, resume workshops and working with partners to ensure candidates have the necessary wrap around support to succeed. Lauren also works with our PLA Coordinator to manage union pre-job conferences. Lauren advocates for community members to have access to meaningful work opportunities. Passionate about seeing people thrive both in the workforce and in their personal lives, Lauren is dedicated to empowering individuals to succeed internally and externally.
Alongside her professional work, Lauren is a community leader and mentor, helping young girls discover their purpose and develop the leadership skills to make a difference in their communities. Toward the end of her career at USC, Lauren also discovered her love for business and is currently studying various aspects of business to continue growing in her career.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and indulging in reading and writing. here

Wendy Espinoza, Senior Local Hire Compliance Monitor
Wendy Espinoza is an insight professional who conducts onsite interviews, Wendy enjoys interacting with workers from different projects and getting to know them better. She considers the workers on these projects to be her coworkers, and she sees them on a weekly basis. Wendy takes great pride in her projects and considers them to be a part of her. She always strives to ensure that her projects are in compliance with the highest standards, and every month she eagerly anticipates receiving an email or report for each project she is working on. Wendy is always delighted when the reports are exceptionally well done.
With her enthusiasm for teamwork and attention to detail, Wendy is confident in her ability to contribute positively to any project she works on. She looks forward to continuing to collaborate with others and achieving great things together.
Wendy Espinoza is a busy working mom who cherishes the time she spends with her kids and family. When she's not working, she enjoys taking her children to Disneyland, where they can enjoy the magical world of Disney together. Wendy also loves party planning, and she has a talent for making each event unique and memorable.

In her role, she thrives on organization, collaboration, and ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. She enjoys working with teams, streamlining processes, and hopes to make an impact on the lives of the participants they work with.
Beyond her professional life, Angela has a deep interest in overall health and wellness. She enjoys working out, staying active, and spending time in nature. Whether it’s going to the gym, hiking, or exploring the world around her, fitness is an important part of her lifestyle. Angela also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and discovering new foods and cuisines. Jazee Sims, Placement Coordinator II
Jazee specializes in connecting individuals to job opportunities. On a daily basis, she works closely with subcontractors to help people find meaningful employment.
Jazee has a deep passion for community service, particularly for the area where she grew up—USC. Growing up with access to many resources has fueled her desire to give back and serve the community that helped shape her.
Outside of her professional life, Jazee enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming, and she loves traveling solo to explore new places. She has had the opportunity to live in four different states, including Atlanta and Michigan, and she carries those diverse experiences with her.
An avid dog lover, Jazee also takes pride in owning 59 pink items, including various clothing pieces. Friendly, approachable, and always looking for ways to connect with others, Jazee strives to make a positive impact wherever she goes.
