At Power2Workers, we believe economic opportunity should start at the community level—and stay there.
Through sustained support over the last several years, we have made a measurable and meaningful impact across Los Angeles County. In a survey of just twenty-nine of our projects in Los Angeles County, we found that $87 million in wages were paid directly to LA County residents, with $44 million going specifically to residents of the City of Los Angeles.
This isn’t accidental—it’s the result of intentional, equity-driven systems. Our work is guided by strong public policies coupled with hands-on implementation: pre-bid conferences that set expectations early, monthly compliance reporting that ensures accountability, and consistent outreach connecting qualified local residents to real job opportunities in their own communities.

Every dollar invested in our work helps expand access to good-paying, career-track jobs for individuals who have historically been left out of the construction economy. It strengthens families, stabilizes neighborhoods, and keeps economic growth rooted locally. Now, we’re looking to scale that impact. This special event will honor the progress we’ve made in constructing opportunity & strengthening futures together during this fundraising gala where we will raise vital funds to continue our mission of transforming lives through construction career support, job placement, and long-term success.
